A valuation for your home
To give you some peace of mind, the first thing we do is hold the home of your choice for 48 hours. That way, it can’t be bought by another buyer.
Next comes the valuation process. We’ll invite two established local estate agents to value your current property, then based on their estimates, Cameron and Galliers will recommend the best selling price to you. The cost of the valuations will be covered courtesy of us.
Getting the best mortgage
Securing the right mortgage for you is an important stage in the selling process. We have a great relationship with people who specialise in the new homes market and we would be more than happy to put you in touch with an independent financial advisor.
Initial discussions come at no cost whatsoever and you’ll have access to mortgages not always available on the high street. For more information on speaking to an independent advisor, visit our ‘Getting a mortgage’ page.
On the market
Once you’re happy with the selling price for your home, we’ll appoint both estate agents to put it on the market, promote it, liaise with you personally and organise viewings.
An offer for your home
You’ll hear all offers on your home before you decide on the one that’s right for you. Once you’ve accepted an offer, we’ll work alongside your solicitors to complete the sale of your current home, reserve your new home, then eventually complete that purchase.
Throughout this stage, our pre-owned homes team, sales advisors, solicitors and financial advisors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
